LabODiamonds.com (“we”, “our”, “us”) provides secure, insured, and reliable worldwide shipping for all lab-grown diamonds and jewelry. This policy explains how shipping works, how returns are handled, and what customers can expect for both standard and custom-made items.

1. Shipping Policy

1.1 Worldwide Express Shipping

We offer fast, fully insured worldwide delivery through trusted express couriers.

All shipments include:

  • Full insurance until delivery

  • Real-time tracking

  • Discreet packaging

  • Secure handling

Your order remains 100% insured until it is signed for at the delivery address.

1.2 Delivery Timeframes

A. Orders Above €1,000 (Excl. VAT)

  • Free Priority Shipping

  • Delivery within 1–5 working days (after production)

B. Orders Under €1,000 (Excl. VAT)

  • Free standard shipping

  • Delivery within 3–20 business days

C. Priority Upgrade (EU Countries)

For the following countries, orders under €1,000 can be upgraded to Priority Shipping for €50 (excl. VAT):
Austria, Belgium, Denmark, Finland, France, Germany, Gibraltar, Greece, Ireland, Italy, Netherlands, Portugal, Spain, Sweden, UK
Delivery: 3–5 business days

D. Central & Eastern EU Regions

Shipping fee: €50 (excl. VAT)
Countries: Bulgaria, Croatia, Cyprus, Czech Republic, Estonia, Hungary, Latvia, Lithuania, Luxembourg, Malta, Poland, Romania, Slovakia, Slovenia
Delivery: 3–5 business days

E. International / Non-EU Shipments

Shipping charges depend on the destination and are confirmed before dispatch.

1.3 Customs, VAT & Import Duties

  • EU customers pay 21% VAT (based on EU billing & shipping address).

  • Non-EU customers do not pay Belgian VAT.

  • Your local customs may charge import VAT, duties, or fees — these are the responsibility of the customer.

1.4 Lost, Delayed, or Damaged Packages

All orders are fully insured.
If your package is lost or damaged in transit:

  • We handle the claim with the courier

  • You receive a replacement or full refund once confirmed

Delays caused by customs, weather, or courier issues are outside our control, but we will assist at every step.

2. Return & Cancellation Policy

We take pride in offering high-quality, made-to-order lab-grown diamond jewelry. We understand that circumstances may change, and therefore we offer a 14-day return window on eligible items.

2.1 Eligibility for Returns

Eligible Items

  • Standard jewelry items

  • Loose lab-grown diamonds (with conditions)

Not Eligible

  • Custom-made jewelry

  • Personalized or engraved items

  • Items where the diamond seal is broken

  • Damaged or altered products


2.2 General Jewelry Returns (Standard Items)

Return Conditions

  • Must request return within 14 days of delivery

  • Items must be unused and in original packaging

Refund Deductions

To cover preparation, admin, and quality control:

  • 20% deduction (minimum €180 excl. VAT) on the refund amount

Return Shipping

  • Return shipping costs are the customer’s responsibility

  • We recommend insured shipping

  • We are not responsible for lost or damaged return parcels

2.3 Returns for Custom-Made Jewelry

Custom-made and personalized items are not eligible for standard refunds, in accordance with EU consumer protection laws.

Process:

  1. Once the item is returned, we assess material and stone value.

  2. A buyback offer is sent to the customer.

  3. If accepted → refund is processed within up to 90 days.

  4. If declined → item is returned free of charge.

2.4 Loose Lab-Grown Diamond Returns

Conditions

  • Diamonds must be sealed, laser-inscribed, and in original condition

  • If the seal is broken or tampered, no refund will be issued

Refund Deductions

  • 20% deduction (min. €180 excl. VAT)

  • Market fluctuations on diamond value may also apply

  • For custom-made settings: non-refundable 35% deposit applies

Refund Timeline

Refunds for diamonds may take up to 90 days after inspection.

2.5 How to Request a Return

Email us with:

  • Order ID

  • Reason for return

  • Product details

2.6 Cancellation Before Shipping

Orders can be cancelled within the first 24 hours if production has not started.

If production has begun:

  • Standard 20% deduction (minimum €180) applies

  • For custom orders, the 35% deposit is non-refundable

3. Post-Delivery Warranty

We provide a 14-day inspection period after delivery for manufacturing defects.

If a defect is confirmed:

  • Item will be repaired or replaced free of charge

Additional Benefits

  • One-time free resizing

  • Professional cleaning and full inspection
    (Customer pays shipping both ways)

Important Note

We are not responsible for diamonds or gemstones that fall out after delivery.
We strongly recommend insuring your jewelry immediately.
